Technology
The technical regulations and technical provisions of the NES are simpler and less comprehensive than in comparable series and races on the Nordschleife.
Anyone who has set up a vehicle in accordance with the current technical regulations for comparable series and races on the Nordschleife should be able to participate in the NES without technical modifications to the vehicle.
Anyone who builds a vehicle according to NES regulations may have to retrofit or make changes in some areas to the current technical regulations of comparable series and races on the Nordschleife.
GT3 and GT4 vehicles race in Division I, racing cars.
No, there is basically no limit to the tires. The GT3, development and performance car classes, including GT2, for which the DMSB tire procedure applies, analogous to comparable series and races on the Nordschleife, are excluded.
We submitted the complete NES 2024 regulations to the DMSB this week. The date originally scheduled for last week was postponed due to illness. At the moment, final agreements are being made with the DMSB, which will then be incorporated into the regulations accordingly. Unfortunately, we cannot give a specific date for the release. This is not solely in our hands. However, we can assure you that this will be as soon as possible.
Organisation
Yes! The NES is supported by 3 to 5 AvD and DMV clubs. In addition, NES relies on the uniform filling of numerous positions at all events in order to ensure a consistently high level of execution.
No special ticket is required for access to the arcade and lounges. A valid additional ticket for the paddock is sufficient. Guest tickets allow access to the open grandstands, paddock, starting grid, pergola and pit roof, as well as the Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten sections of the circuit, which are subject to a charge.
The teams will receive eight free tickets per vehicle. One exception is the GT3 class with twelve tickets. These quotas do not include tickets for the above-mentioned drivers, which are issued free of charge.
Due to the infrastructural conditions in the paddock (plot plan), the usual 60 square meters for the first car and 30 square meters for each additional vehicle mentioned remain as a free quota.
The entry fees are at the familiar level with a price adjustment of around two percent and therefore well below the inflation rate.
Discussions with sponsors have been ongoing for some time and some are close to being concluded.
Yes, own catering and/or hospitality are permitted in the paddock, but must be requested in advance and do not count towards the free quota.
The AvD and BS Motorsport GmbH are currently the sole shareholders of Nürburgring Endurance GmbH. In the meantime, talks have taken place with the Nürburgring.
The provisional schedule provides for a 90-minute qualifying session and the start of the race at 12:00 noon.
NES relies on people with extensive experience. That is in the foreground. The criticism is obviously being deliberately spread in order to discredit the NES and individuals and to discredit their performance during their time in the VLN/NLS. All those involved are open to objective criticism at all times.
Requests to speak with so many participants are not practicable. We regret that the unforeseeable delays have led to the late confirmation of dates for the NES. We will get in touch with teams and/or team groups and listen to their suggestions. This will be done in small working groups.
The kick-off meeting was the first information event for representatives of teams, industry and sponsors. We were delighted with the great interest shown by almost 90 people. For us, this was the start of an open dialog. This means that questions are allowed at the following meetings, but rather that the topics can also be discussed. We will hold such meetings whenever topics need to be discussed.
The NES is fully financed. This applies in particular to the start-up costs associated with a new series.
There are maximum access options in the usual form. NES will pay special attention to the spectators in order to emphasize the event character.
We are initially planning with four vehicles. If necessary, we will make individual decisions if, for example, more vehicles need to be in a box for technical, personnel, cooperation or similar reasons and there is no alternative.
The paddock can be occupied from 18:00 on the Thursday before each NES event. When it comes to procedures, our focus is on simplification, easing the burden and reducing logistical hurdles on all sides.
The NES.Office Frankfurt is responsible for the regulations, registrations and entries, the NES.Office Nürburgring for the paddock, pit plan, sponsoring and partnerships as well as accounting.
By organizing the kick-off meeting as a video conference, we have given all interested parties the opportunity to follow this information event from almost anywhere in the world via PC or smartphone. Zoom is not only in motorsport but one of the leading suppliers worldwide.
All spectator areas around the Nordschleife will be accessible free of charge, with two exceptions: The Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten areas are subject to a charge.
No! Digital entry and document approval is a free service for all NES participants, which is implemented by our partner onGRID.
